New generation control unit passes environmental tests

The prototype of control system for the new auxiliary power unit has passed successfully environmental tests and now is being tested to achieve software safety according to RTCA/DO-178C standards.
This control unit for auxiliary power units (APU’s) developed for our important customer PBS Velká Bíteš is intended for use in helicopters, aircraft and large unmanned vehicles.
The new auxiliary power unit SPARK40 from PBS has been officially presented at the Paris Airshow 2023. SPARK40 represents the next generation of the successful SAFIR 5K/G MI APUs which have found applications around the world.
