The new MESIT headset allows for perfect orientation in the field
MESIT (a member of OMNIPOL Group) now presents the new M20 Personal Headset, which provides users not only with hearing protection but also serves as a reliable communication tool for the demanding conditions of military missions.
The M20 Personal Headset builds on the combat-proven M10 model and is designed for military vehicles, dismounted units, and ground operations. It can be easily used with various types of helmets, whether with rail adapters, a headband or a strap and neckband for attachment under the helmet.
The M20 features excellent passive noise reduction and a monitoring system with four microphones for 360° situational awareness. “Loud sounds are automatically adjusted to a safe level, while low-level sounds are amplified for better spatial awareness. This ability is key during operations in unknown environments, where it is necessary to respond quickly to acoustic stimuli from various directions,” said Tomáš Mazúrek, Product Director of MESIT asd.
The headset is compatible with tactical radios, intercoms, and other communication systems on board of military vehicles. The construction is resistant to impacts, vibrations, and weather conditions, ensuring operational capability even in extreme conditions.
Product testing in challenging conditions is a strong point of MESIT. It has its own testing laboratories, which enable to effectively verify the properties of products during the development phase when exposed to various external influences. This enables an increase in the reliability of products that are primarily aimed at the aerospace and defence industry.
MESIT will showcase the new version of the M20 headset for the first time in May at the International Defence and Security Technology Fair IDET 2025.
